How We Do it!

This web site and forum are for the folks who love anything to do with fishing on the East Coast of the United States. We rely on discrete advertising, business sponsorship and member subscriptions. We allow links in our posts that are relevant to the topic. We have moderators in place who can tell if someone signs up with the sole intent to advertise their site, forum or business and this will not be tolerated.

Subscriptions will be set aside for specific funds:

• Site Promotion: T-shirts, bumper stickers, etc.
• Site Maintenance: Domain renewals, Monthly hosting costs, etc.
• Product giveaways: We are able to have contests for our fishing events and have given away some very nice fishing equipment.
• Special Events: Annual gatherings for socializing, fishing and just having fun and getting to know each other!
• Site Supporters do not see Google advertising on the forum!

How to Subscribe

Making a donation is very simple.
After clicking on the Site Supporter icon below, you will be directed back to the forum support page.

You will need a PayPal account to subscribe. PayPal is the leading "over the Internet" payment system and is VERY secure. If you don't have a Paypal account, I suggest getting one anyway. You may use any major credit card, debit card or bank account with PayPal.

Some people have issues dealing with money over the Internet and I can definitely understand why. If you don't feel comfortable with PayPal, do some research. It is as safe as handing your credit card to a cashier. If you would rather subscribe with a check or money order, please feel free to do so. You may send it to:

The site supporter program was originally set up as a yearly, reoccurring charge to your credit card or paypal account. It clearly states this when you subscribe.

I received an email from a member who had signed up for the site supporter program. Evidently he didn't understand that this was a reoccurring charge. I offered him an immediate refund and I would take him off the site supporter list.

Well, I can certainly understand his point of view. It could be very easy to forget about a once a year subscription.

It is not my intention to "trick folks" into getting charged once a year, but this is how the software is designed. So, I have decided to remove the "auto reoccurring" feature.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we experienced some problems with our dedicated server and found the culprit. The situation has been handled and I have taken a few extra steps to ensure site security and stability.

These things happen and the internet is constantly evolving. We do our best to stay up with the security, but it remains an expensive and constant battle.

I belong to many, many forums and I can say without a doubt, this is one of the most "professional" forums I visit. Atlantic Anglers has quickly become one of my favorites.
