Default Barnegat 11.18.06

Fished Barnegat Bay today with my brother, cousin, and his BIL. Nice day, if a little cold.

Great boat. 26' Glacier Bay CC with twin 150 yamahas. The best riding boat I've ever been on. 50 knots with no spray. Simply awesome.

Anyway, we caught 6 stripers with one being a keeper:

Me: 1/26"
bro: 1/28"
Cos: 2/12" and 24"
BIL: 1/27"

Once a year is enough for me. I hate jersey, lol.

I do, however, like my cousins.

May have to make it twice a year now, he want to get a tuna trip together next summer.

And, being as I'm a total tuna whore, I won't pass up that offer.

I don't mind NJ if I'm on a boat, but i hear you. For me though 2.5 hrs to NJ shore is sometimes tempting compared to 3.5 to OC...

Tuna? Mmmm love that fight!

I'm so happy I ran away at the ripe age of 17!

Yeah Ryan, i wasn't too far from your old stomping grounds.

The VHF Chatter is jersey is pretty comical tho...

It's like listening to Jon Lovitz:

"I just brought 1 at 49" to the boat...yeah that's it, that's the ticket"
