Default Gidday Fellas

Randy Stinchcomb pointed me this way. I have been lurking for a week or so, just having a good read, love all this stuff thats different to what i get to fish for.
My name is Dave, i live in sunny Brisbane, in south east Queensland, Australia.
most of my fishing is in Moreton bay & the surrounding estuaries. I tend to only use lures & light gear, mainly 6lb -14lb gear. a mixture of spin & casting, depending on what i am after & how my mood is on the day
I have a small aluminium cat, 14' which is absolutely perfect for my fishing.

will try & dig up some pics of local fish, they won't be mine as i release 99% & never think to take a camera, as it then becomes a bit of a chore trying to remember to take pics. anyway, on my trips fish are a bonus it's all therapy for me & not too much can beat floating out there flicking plastics around surrounded by the sounds of the ocean after a hectic time at work..

cheers all, i look forward to more reading, don't expect too much from me, but if i can answer any questions about Aust fishing , i will..

Welcome aboard, Dave! Glad to have someone from across the BIG pond. I've always wanted to visit Australia and I'm intent on doing so. I hear there are some big sharks down under.

It would be cool to see what you guys catch.

Nice to have you here Dave!
Next time you go out, we'd enjoy reading about your therapy.
