Post E-Mail

If you have an Atlantic Anglers E-mail address, please use the following information to set up your account in Outlook: Note: I am using Outlook 2007 and your version may be different

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. Click on "Tools"
  3. Click on "Account Settings"

  4. Click on "New" or "New E-mail Account"

  5. Choose "POP3"

  6. Fill out your name, E-Mail Address, Password and click "next"

  7. On the next screen, type your incoming and outgoing mail server information (mail.atlanticanglers.com). Verify that everything is filled out and then click "More Settings"

  8. Click on the "Outgoing Server Tab" and put a check in the box.

This should complete your e-mail setup using Microsoft Outlook.

I'll work on Outlook Express Now...

*Feel free to use your own outgoing mail server information.

You can also access your email by going to webmail.atlanticanlgers.com
-Your username is your e-mail address
-Supply your password

If you would like an e-mail address and you are a site supporter,
e-mail me at sam@atlanticanglers.com and I'll set one up for you.
Make sure you tell me what password you would like to have.

Use Thunderbird....Get rid of outlook

Unless you have calendering and stuff like that Outlook is overkill for just a simple email client.

Hey Jim, do you want to do me a favor and do a tutorial on Thunderbird? That would be really helpful since I don't use it.

I can put a limit on how many times you can use a smiley in a post. I thought we were more grown up than that... Skylar, I know yours are on accident (some conflict with the conversion between office 2007), Steve, yours was just funny. Lets see what happens for real and then I might have to actually do something I don't want to:

KILL THE SMILEYS!!!
