problem?

i have my posts set to notify me when there is a response, but it doesnt seem to be working. is it just me?

Yeah. Everytime I come to the site, it doesnt remember me. I have to keep re entering the name and password in order to see the new posts. I set it up on your site and my computer to be remembered, just doesnt do it for me. Thats all I can see.

Chomper, do you have dial up? Another thing you migh try is going into internet options (under tools at the top) and enabling cookies.

i get remembered, both at work and home, dialup at home, dsl at work

Works the same way from dial-up, cable, and T connection. Cookies are enabled.

Roger, who do you use for e-mail? Some email servers like yahoo and hotmail see it as "junk mail".

Chomper and Roger are talking about two different things.



Chomper, your cookies are being deleted locally on your system, that's why it doesn't "remember" you. Something is deleting them, it's that simple.

It works for me.



As for Roger's situation, I haven't enabled notification so I cannot address it.

I will do so now and let'cha know. I'll look around in the board's forum settings to see if notification is set.



Just looked, all appears as it should. Just make sure you check the notification box after you write a post.

i use my company email, theres no issue on other boards visit. thats why i was wondering it it was just me.

Nope, I'm not getting email notification of new posts either.

I have a few filters set up at the server that may be disallowing secureserver through. I'll look there too....
