Bluefin Tuna fishing continues to provide steady action at the hambone, chickenbone, Massey’s canyon, Parking Lot and the Hot Dog. Bigger fish to 150# showed up with the biggest fish at 162#. This is good news for the anglers fishing the OC tuna Tourney for this weekend. Yellowfin Tuna fishing improved over the weekend. Sunday boats fishing deep in the Baltimore Canyon landed fish in the 40-60# range. Mixed in the tuna bite were gaffer dolphin to 30#.

The Sunset Marina Report 7-6-08:
"Xiphias" caught 12 mahi and a bluefin at the Hambone. "Zipper" caught a bluefin at the Parking Lot. "Crystals Caper" caught a bluefin at the Hambone. "Sea Wolf" caught a bluefin, 3 bluefish and 2 dolphin at the Hot Dog. "Marli" released several bluefin and kept 1 and a dolphin at the Hambone.

Sunset Marina Report 7-5-08:
"Osprey" fished the Hotdog today and released 6 bluefin, kept 2 and a dolphin. "Clear Shot" was at the Hambone and caught a bluefin, 2 dolphin and 10 bluefish. "Shelly II" released 2 bluefin, kept 1 and 2 dolphin and a bluefish at the Hotdog. "Natural" caught a bluefin a dolphin and 2 bluefish at the Hambone. "Third Wish" was also at the Hambone and caught a dolphin and a bluefin. "Marli" was at the Lumpy Bottom and released 5 bluefin, kept 1 and a king mackeral. "Predator" caught 2 yellowfin and a dolphin at the Baltimore.
