Default Baltimore Canyon

Left the inlet at 5:30am and headed for the Baltimore. Ninety percent of the fleet appeared to go south.

We managed one small Dolpin and a small yellowfin. Neither fish was worth bragging about, however, we did fly flags. The flags drew the attention of the marine police and sure enough we were boarded.

When the yellowfin measured 32 inches, 5 over the minimun, the officer actually looked a little disappointed.

Glad you got something into the boat!

Rule of Thumb from MisFit #1.... NEVER EVER FLY any FLAGS until you are at the dock.

Trust me... It's nice to hang a flag when you are rolling into the inlet but, certainly Not worth the misery of being boarded.

LOL, Ryan had not heard of this before I've never had any issues wth Flaggin' thru the inlet before, but good info to know maybe fly the flag(s) upside down, indicating a release would cut-down on boardings
