Default Inshore Tuna

Stopped at the 30 fathom line inshore of poormans. Lost one dophin at the boat and put a 40lb yellowfin in the box.

Ventured out to poormans and boated two gaffer dolphin under debris, no tuna.

On our way back we hooked and boated a 60lb yellowfin.

Should have stayed inshore.

Pics to follow

Great job! I heard the tuna were being caught further inshore than normal.

Default Inshore Tuna

From radio reports, and the guys at the dock, there are a fair number of Bluefins just inside the 20 to the 30 line. The smaller boats are fishing as close as 18 miles off the beach, just northeast of the twin wrecks and a little further out to the jack and in the fingers.

I heard on the radio some boats leaving poormans and headed inshore to the Hotdog and Hambone to target Bluefins.

Most reports that I heard indicate that the Bluefins appear to be concentrated over the inshore structures at the 20 and 30 line with the Yellowfins out futher in the warmer water and are some what scattered.

HA!
Dave - watch it now, don't go telling everyones secrets - isn't that part of the bartender's code? Sort of like doctor-patient privilege or something?
