Was rough but I have to say I have been in worse and its no fun in a small boat when your 50 miles off.

I've been in 5 foot seas in a 20 footer in the Keys, that video looked more like 3 foot, maybe a shot or two of 4 foot. They were making 12 knots? Not in 6' seas in that boat....
Sure, it was rough though, no doubt.

Regardless, if it was purported to be so rough, where are the PFDs????

Ya they looked like 3 to 4 with some 6 ft here and there and I think I saw someone wearing a PFD

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing.....checked my logs, and we were in the same situation on 9/10. This video was shot 8/27. I remember that day. I was out at the Jackspot with my father, and I saw the dark clouds and headed in before these guys, thus preventing my boat and crew from facing the same situation.

A few notes:

1. They were 4' seas at the most. Not 6'.
2. Good captain, had his crew don their PFD's.
3. I find it irresponsible for Rte 113 Boat Sales to use this video as a marketing device to inexperienced captains.
4. The Triumph's are good boats. The only reason I didn't buy one when I bought BOHICA is that the model I wanted was not self bailing.
5. This video could easily have had a different ending.....

Noooo, no controversy, just funnin'!
I think it's funny when things get stretched out, like "The fish was THIS big" or "The seas were THIS big", etc...
