Default Skate.. Big Skate

How about this Skate!? It was caught on shark of all things!

I didn't know that either. Evedently, these guys go fishing for them!

Can you imagine if we had to fight through those beasties around here? We would sure go through some line looking for the striped ones.

Sam caught one that big this summer.... remember i went out to grab the leader and we realized it was coming in backwards..... then e found out it had no tail.....

I can't remember exactly how long it took me to get it in close, but it ended up getting snagged in my other rig and Coop helped me get her into the suds. Then Oliver grabbed ahold of her and pulled her up onto solid sand. I'd say about 150lbs+. Released alive.

The crazy thing is, if in fact it was a ray, it didn't have it's tail and if it had, Oliver would have been in REAL danger...

Sam I remember that day I think that was the first day I met you and coop and Oliver, I had just pulled up and started settin up when you went for your rod you must have fought that thing for over an hour. AHH Memories.

We know how he has a habit of riding aquatic creatures bareback....
