you know... they might be onto some thing.......did they make sure that there were no air leaks anywhere in the fuel line?????? I am looking at a 19' Mako and the johnson that powers it had a similar problem but it was corrected when he replaced a bad hose clamp..... I think Mrs SRS said vapor lock........ I still think it's fuel related, but I have been known to be wrong before.

What year Mako?

Good Solid hulls in the older years. Just gotta look out for the SOFT Spots on the floors w/ Mako.

And remember... The Johnson power is Good power but not very fuel efficient. They Like their GAS!!!!!!

Best of luck to your B-O-A-T Shopping.
I have a real nice Blackfin I can get you into!!! I'll make you a nice deal!!! And maybe I'll throw in a 30 or 50W for ya.

Ryan

It's a co-worker of Carolyn's that I am buying it off of and he got tied up at work this week so no float test this week. I went up and looked at it again.. I really like it. the Coast Guard plate is a little corroded so I couldn't read what year. I am guessing early 80's???????
