Default Jackspot 8/19

Got up at oh-dark-thirty. Hit the water at first light, intending to run to the Hambone. Seas were pretty snotty until 15 miles out, and I almost turned around after several big hits. Decided to pull up at the JS.

Turned out to be a nice day on the water, even if the bite was non-existant. Listened to radio chatter ALL day with very few reports of meat.

Tons of sorgassum and debris, yet NO mahi??? I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Did see a sea turtle playing with a 2x4....no pic tho (kickin myself for that one).

One unidentified knockdown, picked up the rod, fish was gone.

Ran North to Great Eastern to pick up some Cbass for dinner.

You certainly are the man Bob!

Water certainly looks pretty... Nice and clear out too!

Nice picture of the seabass.

I'm waiting for the call in report from the Not Right. It's 5:35 and everyone's phone is still off. Not a Good Sign for a good day (usually).
