You can see a fella standing directly behing the lucky angler, Walter Maxwell, in this picture. He is wearing the vertical striped shirt. A younger looking fella.
His name is Mike Sowden. Also know as Hip. He and another fellow sharker pal, Earl Wallace, made this extra large rig, for me....

And here is a picture of a rig with top float being used in the saltwater. Floats help to locate bait placement and save your rig for recovery purposes. They also serve to keep your main line up off the bars.
I joke with Hip about how he had to pick up some Major Mojo just being near that beast of a tiger shark. He doesnt know about picking up mojo, but he has been a part of team efforts that have landed some very large sharks caught in the past. He has picked up some well sought after skills for "extreme" sharkers along the way. He is happy to share the tips and tricks he has picked up in the past and I am very grateful for them and happy to pass them on to others.
