Fished today from the beach from 3pm until 9pm and landed 3 stripers, all over 40",,,striper bite still going strong,,,not sure how much longer this will last,,,got one king and a cow nose that was like a bowling ball,,,ended up knocking down everyone of my lines into a tangled mess,,,my own faught should of went over the first line but did the opposite and one tangle led into another, and another,,,I actually thought it was a striper,,,hooked it right into the wing so it felt like a striper and was flying in all different directions,,,anyway, had to rerig everything,,, :censored: ,,,all fished released except for the king,,,yaked the king out once for a st just an hour or so before dark,,,no luck.
gotta a message from Sam while I was out there and returned his call to let him know a good striper bite is going on,,,he came down and joined me a little later, around 6pm, and he had a really nice hit and run but his line snapped,,,no mistaken, it was a nice striper,,,Sam, I admire you on how you can remain so cool and collective,,,you know me, I would have thrown a fit if that happened to me.

you should start giving surf fishing leason after golf leasons I would be sure to sign up for a few. Ive spent numerus hours on the beach this summer and have only mastered the art of skate fishing. Good job you keep the hope alive.

Seriously, Scott - i'm in awe- you're definitely doing something right!
Do me a faovor: When you release your next 40+ inch cow make a deal with her - do it only on condition that she promises to bite my bait next.... :mrgreen:
