you have enough to do several different things. try a few but here is what I usually do. cut up in 1 inch squares, shake in a bag with house autry fry mix and let it sit in the bag for liike 20 minutes letting the mix get on more and deep fry. easy, quick, awesome. one of my favorite eating fish.

Default My hat off to ya

Very nice catch! I'm sure you were targeting something large because that is a tough land from the pier. You never know what you're gonna get into around here. Welcome aboard!

You know, the more I read about this fish, the more impressed I am with the angler. I mean, you had to really know what you were doing to land that fish. Good line, good knots, good hook, good gear all the way around. And to be able to get that beast up on the pier!

Excellent job!

thanks for everything you have said about me... the fight was about 45mins long after i picked up the pole. it felt like hooking into a ball of dynamite that never gave up. once i made sure the hook was set the ball of dynamite exploded with power and ran for 30secs running about 200-300yards out. everytime that i would get it close it would just take off again. it didnt give up until it hit the deck of the pier. when my dad got it in the net and got it up the side of the pier it almost flipped out. i caught him with a fish finder rig on my heavy action 10ft tica with a diawa Bg60 or somthing like that and it had 20lb test with 50lb mono leader, and my chunk of bait that i bought from john henry on m snelled 7circle. also thanks for the recipe officially 49.6lbs and the costal fisherman called back and said one in hte bay was 67lbs.....nice fish either way if it could have been a state record but i am happy that i got it anyways and landed a fish of a lifetime.
