Yeah, but...
MD DNR and the Feds are very different and do not always agree upon or do the same thing.
Has someone actually spoken to NPS, not DNR at AI?

Saw a sign on the way out. Burn ban does not include charcoal grills :-)

Well, ok, that's it then!
We'll throw a charcoal grill on the sand and load it way up with firewood.

So, it it charcoal or gas grills that are allowed?
I've read both items...

Is this no fire, no grill law just for this weekend? I hope not it's always nice to have a fire on the beach at night while fishing.

Either I'm loosing my mine (which is quite possible) or they changed the sign at the ORV entrance. There is a burn ban in effect until we get a couple days of rain. This does include charcoal grills. Gas grills are allowed.

That's how I read it Sam. It will take about 3 days of rain for the ban to be lifted. That way every thing will get saturated. (that's what my brother told me he's with the Berlin Fire Co.)
