those two fish im holding up in leemo24s picture were great fights

We had a good weekend on the VA side of AI ended up with 5 rockfish 37,37,35,36,31. And a friend from MD had 4 black drum 7,20,28,and54.2lbs. Pics in the VA forum.

Sorry, forgot to mention this guy... He wasn't happy at all and we knew it. I didn't even want to get near him. Dad doesn't think he has chapped lips, but that was the only thing in his pocket to use as perspective tool. LOL

I get quite a few large Stargazers in the surf every fall. My buddy caught an 8 pounder in the Delaware Bay last year. He took it home and ate it. He said the flesh was white firm and tasted like lobster or crab.
