Exclamation Obstruction Coordinates

Assateague can be a pretty nasty place to drive after a good storm.
Often times whales, planks and associated debris washes up that can do some bad damage to your vehicle, if not just a flat tire. Of course, a flat is bad enough in itself.

My thought here is to jot down coordinates from your GPS and post it here if you find a bad area that looks like it will be there for at least a day or so. Dead whales count too, hard to see at night.

Coordinates for the exit to the pumps would be nice too. Dummy me, thought I had it in my GPS but didn't. I was riding the hard pack at low tide and blew past the exit and went about a quarter mile too far north.

For safety reasons, if it gets bad out there (like last year) we can make this a sticky.
