Smile Fishing reports for November 21 - 27

Last week there were some reports of stripers caught both on the beachfront and inlets. Tog action has been very good as well. Chomper blues are also making a showing in the line up.

Feel free to post your reports here, fish or no fish.

I hope everyone has a great Thankgsgiving Day!

you can get around pretty good without 4 wheel drive engaged. Just air down a bit more.

There have been a couple times I forgot to put my jeep in 4X4 and drove all around the beach without even realizing it.

That works well for a Jeep but not an 8000+ lb vehicle.
I can run in 2wd near the water on the hard flat sand at low tide but that's it.

Ya'll need to start catching some pin striped suits. I had mentioned that it would happen this weekend or a day or two after.

Default I thought I had my first AI Striper - i really did

Fished north edge of the ORV this afternoon into dusk w/ Jim(ffemtreed), his girlfriend and his brother.

I had a big hit on a head tonight shortly after throwing it out. Felt some pullage, some head shake - was really getting excited. Well - turned out to be a 30 inch, 10lb Blue!!! Not the A. I. Rock I had hoped for, but i'll take it!!! Pics to follow after Jim either posts or sends them to me.

Couple other hits on heads that we missed - think they were other blues as some semi circle chunks were taken out when the heads were still there. Other than that doggies.

Oh - and as a follow up to my dead seagull catch this spring - I had another first - I caught a DEAD SKATE!

Blue fish tonight for dinner - YUM!!!!

Still not givin up on my A. I. Rock - it'll happen someday....

EDIT: Added a pic we took back at the condo.

Thumbs up

The wrist is finally healed up and I am over the "Cold From Hell" . I will be out at AI Monday-Thursday and will follow up with a report.
Sounds like a good number of big blues were caught on the DE and Ocean City beaches today.
After over a month of being laid up I am really looking forward to some pullage.
See ya out there and If you see a white 4Runner feel free to Say Hey.

Well I fished this past week in short spans when I could get out. First day I caught a 33" rock. From then on it was doggies and skates. Gulls were bad too. three knockdowns and one gull landing. Too much family around for me to fish as much as I wanted to. Anyway I am surprised I never hit a blue. Crabs were nowhere to be found. Chunks stayed on with no problem....as a matter of fact every catch was on a chunk. Not a bump on a head and I was fishing four rods, two head and two chunks. Hope to get back in a couple of weeks, we shall see.
