Default Misfit Reef 10.15.07

The quest for inshore flounder continued today. I looked at temp charts, fishing reports, hell, I even asked the guy at the tackle shop.

I came to the decision that the flatties are further offshore than normal this year, and made a decision to start my day at Great Eastern.

It turned out to be a good one. 5 minutes after we started our drift, my pop pulls in an 18" fat flattie.

Me, you ask? I got a double header: skate and skate!!

I redeemed myself by pulling up a nice keeper Cbass, and a 16" keeper.

Slow steady bite throughout the day. Lots of dinks and skates. Ocean was like a lake.

Vacation's over.......back to work tomorrow.

A doubler on skate, sounds like something that would happen to me.
