Default Upper Ches Striper Opener

any of you crazy enough to go out on the opener with me?

I've been out before when you don't need a boat, just walk stern to stern to get out there. I know it may sound dangerous but with all the pressure I can't help but think that with a ninja boat like a yak and a spot out the outskirts of the trolling hooking up to a 40"+ fish would be possible and worth the ride.

I'm leery of going alone with it so cold in the water though.

Not my cup of tea in the cold.
If you decide to do it, wear a dry suit to keep you dry and warm.
Put a cell phone (or even better, a marine VHF radio) in a waterproof bag and attach it to your PFD and have the Coast Guard's and DNR's numbers programmed in.
But remember, it can take them awhile to reach you.

Sounds like fun!
Maybe you can get a big cow to take you skiing!

On Edit:
Yeah Sam, worse yet, at night!
But hey, there's some mean Bulls in the CB.

Looks fun, but dangerous. And look at me... I kayak into shark infested waters with bloody bait!
