I launched today about 2:00 and fished until 5:30. Fishing was slow overall. I caught five fish with three keepers 17" to a little over 20". The fish were not interested in chicken today
but they were hitting 1/2oz chartreuse jigs with GULP or cut bait. The wind made fishing difficult but I was able to get some good drifts behind Assateague Island using my drift sock to slow me down. Water temp was 67 on the surface. |

mdram, the fish seem to be in their summer pattern already. they are in the deeper water and they are biting best around the high tide.
I'm taking off early tomorrow if the weather holds.... p.s., the water was nice and clear on the high tide |
