Good deal, Fred.

I fished with Bohica and TooEZ on the bay. We drifted several hours and no fish. The water was pretty dirty and 58 degrees. We did see some blues caught and one nice flounder, but still pretty cool in my opinion.

Nice day on the water though. Thanks again, Bob.

The only way it gets better is to do it more often!

Fished from around 10:30 this morning till around 6:30pm till the wind/rain chased me off the beach. Man that front came out of nowhere. It was absolutely gorgeous all day till the very very end.

Fished about a mile south of the bull pen and no fish to report, at least nothing with fins. Caught one skate early on and switch bait to big heads. I did catch some sand flea to try out, that didn't go over too well. They kept breaking apart trying to hook them. Tried about a dozen or so really big ones I dug up. I even tried using the Gulp bloodworms and no takers on that.

On a side note here is something you can all laugh at me for, well I spooled my Mag 525 with brand new line, got it all rigged up and ready to go I put the weight on and put a big bunker head on and I dropped it on the ground like I always do and guess what, dummy me had it set in freespool from when I was pulling the line up through the guides. Whammo I blew up my reel without even casting. Took me 45 minutes to get that sorted out. I would put a post on the the other thread about tempers, but this is a family board and I not sure most of you (other than Oliver) would appreciate my reaction.

Outcast go here and look for Image Resizer about half way down and the download is on the right of the page. here is the link in the Site help forum http://www.atlanticanglers.com/forum/site-help/2277-resize-photos-windows-xp-only.html I took out the other stuff I posted just so it would not take to much room here.

Yesterday morning it was blues and more blues! Most small, biggest about 17" or so. Could have caught a bunch of them if I were not using 8/0 and 10/0 circles. In the evening I FINALLY caught a skate!!!! First one after 20 or so hours of fishing this weekend. I guess I caught them all last week????

One striper that went 32" also!

Way to go Phil! Sounds like a great weekend of catching.

Outcast, nice size blue!

I hit the beach for 6 hours for some pre dawn fishing and early am fishing, and I just can't get away from the skate infested waters. Skates on every cast. I just can't seem to pick a day when the skates are MIA. Makes catching very hard. Did have a nice fish on, and thats all I am going to say about that.
