Default Breeding water temps for the toothies

I have read that the area near Bennet's Pier south of Bower's is an active spot for spring sharking. I checked out the remote desolate area last week and it sure is at the end of the line. I am wondering if anybody has heard or tried this in the spring? What water temp is needed for the toothies to begin the process?
