AI in June. What can i expect?

Hello

I'm going to be hiking on AI in very early June, going down the beach. What fish are active then? This is my first time surf fishing but I've researched the gear pretty throughly, all I need now is to know what I should be trying to catch.

Hey Bryan, Welcome Aboard

in the surf in June you can catch Flounder, Croaker(Hardheads), Kingfish and Blues all on light tackle

and if you have some heavy gear, Big Sharks

And then there is the ever present skates (2-10 lbs) and huge cow nose rays(10-greater than 50 lbs).
