Are tigers caught in the surf this far north? If so has anyone caught one?

I am assuming Florida, I checked out the site and most of the people posting are from Florida. Not positive myself though.

Florida it is. Those fellas have put up a great tourny and some very nice sharks have been beached and released, maybe some new ILSFA records set too. I agree Dave about the getting to Florida NOW !!! A friend of mine lived in Daytona Beach for a while, and it is a fishermans paradise almost anywhere ya go down there ....

I love the reports some of the members of Extreme Coast International put up on their message board. Those Fla. keys look like a must see place for me.

I can attest to the Keys being the place to go. Any kind of fishin' you want to do is there. Sit on the dock drinking some coffee before you launch and catch all the Pinfish (bait) you need. Later in the evening after coming back in, toss one out for the Tarpon cruisers.

It's a great place!
