Welcome heure35, sorry to see that you had some problems with some people I'm sure that will not be the norm unless like Sam said it is summer time or a tournament. But if you are ever out on the beach and see any one of us I'm sure to say stop on by you will be welcome to fish next to me

Default ahead of the blow 4/14

Fished Gordon's long enough to know the skates were having a convention. Had to reduce the number of rods from 5 to 2, then just left them out until the patrol said they were locking up the gates ahead of the pending beach erosion. Hope the storm will carve out some new holes.

Fished about half mile or so South of the bullpen. Skate convention, especially at dusk. Lost count of how many. Also, I lost a short (12"?) striper in the surf on clam. All skate on bunker. Threw some plugs for a while during the afternoon, but no bites. One guy was kind enough to give me the last of his bunker as he was leaving. A few others stopped by and said hi, but I didnt catch any names. Maybe next time.

Did you guys that were grouped just South of my location have any action after we left? You guys looked like the last group that remained. Saw 2 other stragglers on the way out. Didn't hear much of anything happening.

Oh, btw, MAJOR tern or gull blitz was going on just outside of casting distance. These guys totaled about 40 and they were nosediving viciously, 10-15 of them at a time!! They were in front of us and the group just to our South. Nobody could reach them.
