I was up current from Jim - used 6oz on all 3 of rods, no problems holding with 6's. The wind really wasn't bad at all (although my red face today also tells a different story...)

Just came back for a walk on the beach with the kids this morning- looks like today would be much more comfortable, but alas I'll be "fulfilling my fatherly duties".

Can't wait to get back down in april when the action heats up!

Nice pic - beautiful Reel Coop! Now i don't feel so bad about Saturday. If there were fish to be had, I'm sure you would've found them!

Judging by the pic it was pretty sheepish, at least at that point

Finally, calm winds all day. Every time I have been out this month, seemed to always be blowing 20 to 30. Not to sound like a , all that wind was wearing me down.

Phil, didn't get a water temp and yes, it's an easy mag job. Takes about 10 minutes to put a knobby mag on the reel. Just got this Avet Saturday, 2 down...2 more to get. Slowly phasing out the 525's and replacing them with Avets.

It was a very comfortable day on the beach. One skate (foul hooked). Dave, I hope your truck is ok.

No FISH! Dead tranny, got on the beach around 230 got about two miles past the bullpen doing around 25mph and tach at around 3grand then it felt like someone put the truck in neutral, no bang no noise nothing including no drive, only had reverse. no check engine light no overdrive light NOTHiNG! Let me tell you driving from two miles south of the bullpen to the entrance in reverse 4wd low SUCKS! As for fishing there was none. Sat at the ranger station for three hours waiting for a flat bed to pick me up, finally got it home 20 minutes ago and guess what drive decides to work then put it in park then back in drive and nothing, I hope it is something simple like my bands came loose and just need readjusting, other wise i will be pullin a tranny tomorrow and tryin to come up with a way to pay for it.

Default did pop out a stuck 350

A couple had their white 350 power stroke buried. My ranger did pop them out of the hole that they had created. Prime example of momentum vs. Mass.
Dave car problems on the beach is something that is on my mind. Could have been at the low tide mark and stuck or no transmission. Not a good thing.

Scott, I'm glad to see you get your pop out there with ya. Hopefully, you'll have the whole family down there for a nice cook out and some serious PULLAGE! I am so stoked about this year.
