Harbor Tackle Fishing Report from Acapulco, Mexico
HARBOR TACKLE FISHING REPORT FROM :pACAPULCO, MEXICO:p
Got the OK from my orthopedic surgeon 6 weeks after my knee replacement surgery that I was ready for our family vacation. Our traveling party consisted of Terry, Lee our son, Heather our daughter, Taylor our grand daughter, EJ a friend of my daughter’s and myself. We left BWI in freezing cold weather with snow on the ground and arrived in Acapulco to lots of sun and 86 degrees. Our party of six sat around the pool and on the beach soaking up lots of sun and livations. Terry decided he had enough of doing nothing and he was ready to make arrangements to go fishing. He found a boat and captain that he had fished with in years past. Everything was set and the fishing party was on for Friday. The cameras were ready with fresh batteries just waiting to take lots of fish pictures. The boat captain said that this year was a great year for dolphin, sailfish, albacore tuna and bonito. The guys were excited and ready to catch some big fish. Thursday Terry became sick and decided to postpone the fishing trip to Sunday. Then Friday morning EJ became sick. Everything was still a go for Sunday. Saturday night and into Sunday I was sick. Sunday morning Terry decided that he and EJ were too weak to go fishing and Terry did not want to leave me for the day. The fishing trip was a no go as we were scheduled to fly home on Monday. All in all we had a wonderful trip with our family and we are already making plans for next year.
:p>:p>
My doctor is pleased with the progress of my knee but I still must take physical therapy 3 times a week for the next month. In order to accommodate therapy sessions some mornings I will be opening mid morning. Now that Terry and I are back to work, we are anticipating a great fishing year and looking forward to seeing our friends.
