Make sure that you have all the required equipment, sometimes they check when you pick up your permit, especially for the first time.

If you go down there be sure to do the test run. Also be sure to air down first.

And don't forget to HAVE FUN! Enjoy the fresh, salt air. Keep your eyes peeled for the occasional seal too. It is beautiful this time of year.
