Default crabs and iso's

What's going on with the scavengers these days? Do I need fireballs to keep off bottom?

Was out Thur. and don't think it was crabs or iso. seems to be a lot of ling cod in the water right now and I think they are taking the bait.

Ok, what exactly is an ISOPOD ? I know them as those little bugs that roll up when you touch them. I doubt they are in our waters snacking on huge pieces of bunker.
