I have been throwing out about as far as I can. Fished one line in close for a while Sunday as the water looked "disturbed" but no luck. Bunker is the bait of choice as long as you can find fresh. I want to try bloodworms as the "old hats" talk of the days they caught rock up until Christmas using bloods. Lets us know how you do.

I have caught schoolies on blood fishbites. As a matter of fact, I use the same stuff in the Keys to catch baitfish, they work for everything including freshwater stuff.

Dep243....thanks for the report. Glad you had success and they are still there. Were you fishing on the bottom or floats?

Fishbites....I don't think I would use them this time of year. I think there is something about needing warm water to dispurse the scent of the fake worm.
