Default AI walk-ons

I am planning to go to AI on Sunday if the weather cooperates. I rode out there today to have a look around. Where is the best place to walk on? Can I fish at the State Park or do I need to go to the National Park?

I would suggest driving as far south as you can, parking in the South Ocean Beach parking lot and walking over the dune. I have had great fishing days right in front. Good luck!

You can catch a record fish in DE, OC, on AI at the State or Federal park, fish know no boundaries.
The reason you may not hear of good fishing in OC is because there just isn't enough easy access for fishing. It's all about the boardwalk or businesses along the stretch.
I've caught good fish in DE, the IRI, 118th st, down to the FL Keys, wherever.
It's all good....
Just find a good hole or trough.

They are waiting for you.........

You can fish from the south ocean beach lot or try the north ocean beach lot. It can/will surprise you. The state park also.

They are digging/leveling an area between the State park and the Federal entrance. Who knows, maybe it will be a free area with no showers, etc??
