Seeing as how you are the man of the family it is your job to be hunter and gatherer and to bring meat home for the family. It is a man law and has been that way since the beginning of time. It is just a law of nature that you need to fish and you just can't help it.

I have told that to my wife before. You should see the look I get when I use that one.

I would just lie,,,just tell her there is a bass blitz of epic proportions predicted this weekend, a once in a lifetime shot at huge after huge,,,how can she say no if it's a once in a lifetime chance. Of course we all know its bull but we won't tell.

Oliver - you forgot one thing - I'll be fishing Saturday...that should kill any chance of a blitz Past trips experiences not withstanding, I hope Coop is right as well . Pcking the car tonight - be on the beach Saturday looking for some better luck.

trowpa...good luck and let us know how it works out. For what it's worth the northern half seems to be better right now and I've had all my fish this fall (not that it's been that many) around low tide. Find the deep water, which usually means fewer breaking waves relative to the surrounding area, at low tide.

Or...
Didn't you go to a play, opera, Europe, etc with your girlfriends?

Come on Barb, help a fishin' buddy out!!

You guys have it all wrong. Diamonds - diamonds work great when you are trying to butter up your wife!!!!!!!!!!!!! Earrings are good for a one-day outing - a necklace is good for a weekend - a tennis bracelet buys you three days, and a ring - well - you get as many days as there are carets!!! Now me, personally - I just have to buy tools.

I'm glad my wife doesn't read this forum very often! WOW, I would be in serious trouble.
