Didn't get to fish this weekend but I did ride down to the oc boat ramp in west oc and talked to some guys that said they had some luck today. They were drifitng eels in the inlet and ocean and managed a 28" and 32" as well as some smaller fish. They said the sharks were tearing up the eels. Appears to be alot of sharks (doggies) around right now. Better get em while we can.

Default sunday fishing

Went out to AI today from 7 till 1pm, caught a dozen skates 2 dogs and a 32" blue. Weather was good and the water was good until the tide started to come in. It became very grassy. I am going back out in the mid week. I was using bunker and squid. Caught the blue on squid.

I hit 3Rs on Tuesday and got into the chomper blues again using fresh bunker. The size was smaller but the action was just as fast. The fish hit on the outgoing down to about an hour before low. Lots of skates but no doggies.
