Looks like light winds Saturday/Sunday with partly cloudy skies! We might actually have decent tournament weather for a change!
Bring your firewood, Saturday night is going to be a bit chilly!!! ![]()

Right now the weather looks good....it COULD be a lot worse. The question is how many times will they change the forecast between now and Saturday morning.
I figure to log about 34 hours striper fishing in this event. The only downside is I will have to listen to my Terps on radio instead of watching on tv. |

STRONG S/E Wind is blowing the fish towards the beach right now!!!
Looking really comfortable for Sat/Sun.

With the bait situation... I am worried that storm will keep the boaters out of their boats. Maybe it'll be okay tomorrow and they'll make it out. I would call around tomorrow and get fresh ASAP.... If I was going to fish.

I am also stressing about bait. Seems like we will need LOTS of bunker with the reports about crabs.
I wonder if I will see Dave picking up bait tomorrow. I hope so! Here is something else to try. I know some people catch rockfish on bloodworms during the colder seasons.....I wonder if whole bloodworm fishbites would draw hits from rockfish. The crabs don't seem to like them much. |

I used to use big candy Gummy worms for largemouth Bass off a boat dock.
Dip them in some fish juice and sling uhm out there. Just don't blame me if you don't catch any fish!
