Default 11/11 Stripers on the TOO EZ

Well Ladies and Gents. Not sure if anyone knew about our Delmarvafishing.net Misfit Fun Striper Tourney we had this weekend .... So.... Here is my report.

The Too EZ left the dock very late on Sat. morning after a Very late late night on Fri!!! We kinda left Grand Slam late and somehow my truck wound up at the Sand Bar until last call....

Shot Gun start at 6:30am but, Josh and I showed up at the boat around 7am. Not sure how this happened considering I set my alarm for 5am!

I met up with Bohica, Oliver, and a buddy of mine- Jeff to fish the Tourney.

Headed out to the 60 in the AM and threw the hook. Within the first Hour or So we were hooked up with a 34.5" Striper which eventually took 3rd place!

After we realized the hook was draging (I was sleeping) we then decided to run up the DE Bay and throw that hook at the 14' Light beside my other friend/foes/partners aboard the NOT RIGHT. Chunked up nothing at the 14' Light.

3pm - Tourney was over and we headed back to the barn behind the Not Right as she paved the way for the Too EZ and Instigator.

Good Time Bob and Oliver! Nice meeting Both of you and hope to fish with you both again.

Sam.... You would have been Blowing CHUNKS over the side of my boat! And... Thats not good because the water is shut off at Indian River!!! LOL!

Oliver... Thanx for saving the day on the trans cable! You are the man!

THE WINNERS-
1ST BAD KITTY / KEN
2ND MAINE LADY - DAVE
3RD TOO EZ - JOSH

LOL Oc

The 2nd place winner caught some crabs while he was Striper Fishing! I think they actually threw a few into the box!

Thumbs up

Awesome pictures and post! That is one nice looking crab too.

How many boats did you have enter the tourney? Great job organizing it, they are much more difficult than one would imagine.

Sam, you would not have enjoyed that day at all..... it was sporty to say the least.
I was barely able to hold it back all day, maybe i should have and we might have caught more fish... oh well. I had a blast meeting Ryan and Josh, can't wait to fish with you guys again and thanks for the bunker, will put it to good use.

Oliver... I was Damn Proud of You!

You didn't Blow Chunks! When Bob called me and asked if you could fish... I said to myself... There goes the side of the boat! LMAO!!!

But... You pulled it off and Hung in there! It was nice and SPORTY! Needless to say... you should have been up on the Bridge! Those waves were Mighty Large and I have a KUNG FU GRIP on the wheel the whole time. Sorry Bob.. I know I was "ZERO" Conversation on the way home... but, I had sweaty palms!

We did good guys. We got a 3rd place keeper and had Fun. That is all I can ask on my boat or boats!

Sam- We had about 20 boats that fished the Tourney. We plan on doing it again next year. We, the misfits, are going to include a Shark Tourney just for You, Oliver, Bob and a few others along with a flounder tourney. It was a Blast! Everything LEADING up to Sat is what really made the entire Sat. so much fun! From the Captains meeting all the way down to the T-Shirts and Flags I had made.

Good time Bohica and Oliver! Lets do it again... We'll spice it up and take the NOT RIGHT out next. Maybe I'll take you out to the Poor Mans.

Ryan

Yeah, I KNEW I should've lit another cigar!! LMAO!

Ryan - you got us home safe, and that's ALL that matters. I've been in the same position a few times myself.

Next tourney, let's get bev to be a weigh station as well as one of the DE shops. That way we can get more people in on it.

Poorman's sounds like a fine plan! I'm ready when you are!
