As the Tourney Committee Chair for the WCSSA our first three rules is
1). The integrity of the World Championship 2). To be non-political and a representation of all Surfcaster around the world. 3). To find and record the best surfcaster in the world But for once I have to speak “What’s on my mind for a moment” As a fellow Northeaster & Delmarva Surf Fisherman … it’s dam shame when the only representation we have in a surfcasting team fish fight is 4 guys from Long Beach, New York and the best Women surfcasting team in the Delmarva region… http://www.worldsurffishingcontest.org/ Meanwhile out on the West coast these guys have enter in full force with 4 of there Best Surfcasting team on the Pacific Rim, in what I would call a fishing “Keiretsu” bring the winning plaque to the West Coast and claiming victory over the East Coast. Bragging Rights! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/...ic.php?t=11450 Granted the Reel Women Surfcasting team are some of the best Anglers out of the Delmarva region. But 4 teams from the West Coast and only 2 from the East and we’re at the peak of our season! "That's pretty dam pitiful" .. "Well actually is kinda comical" .. because the West Coast has been following the 2006 Championship and it was annouced the Donna Gutheridge was Skippering the Reel Women team .. these guys and gays scramble to bring there best in the match! Well enough of my rant! I guess the best I could ask from everybody is too at least support the teams that our representing the East Coast … Because the West Coast definitely has cheering squad (2700 strong) And if you are out on the 3R’s to Fenwick Island and see 4 ladies fishing there ass off! Tip your hats Boys! Because they are representing YOU! And you might want to root for ladies on the tournament Blog which they are monitoring and replying too during the course of the match! And For Any West Coast Anglers Reading My Rant Not To Worry Because The First 3 Rules of the WCSSA tournament. Always Apply And Guides Us In Our Principle |
