Default Pole Holder

Got to come up with a better idea for a shark pole holder.

Maybe a length of 2.5" pipe driven in with a sledge. I sure don't want my setup flopping down in the sand (again). Geez, then I'll have to use the truck to pull it out.

maybe you could have a piece of PVC like 7 feet and bury 3 feet of it in the sand. just use a shovel to dig your hole and place the holder in there and pack the sand back in tight. I dont know. there just has to be something better than a sledge hammer!

Just get some PVC pipe 4 feet, put it a foot down (or when you can lean on it without it falling over) You don't need it too strong if you leave the drag set.

The PVC I use is 5 foot. It still loosens up.

Going to try a 7 foot piece and bury 3 or 4 of it.

alum/steel pipe? 10' total, 5' of 2.5" couples to 5' of 1.5" for easier insertion?

I was thinking about using 2.5 inch so I could pad it to protect the rod. Might rig up something to the back of the truck.

Ah, so many projects...
