AI Still Closed

I just called the Park Service and the guy I spoke with told me that the island will remain closed the rest of today (9-2-06) and they will re-evaluate it tomorrow.

She's opened up until 2 miles past the pull pen.

Even with the beach shorten up it will not be packed

I'm thinking about heading out today. I'm not sure how rough the current will be, but the winds look pretty calm coming out of the N/E.
