Hunting on AI
Anyone hunt on AI??? I know the bugs are awful in the woods, but I'd love to get a Sika. Been thinking about taking an extended weekend in mid-October to combine fishing and bowhunting.......poor man's safari I guess. Anyway, just wondering of anyone hunts the area or has any words of wisdom. Also, I'd appreciate it if anyone can suggest a place that processes deer in the area for a good price. Thanks guys

It sounds like an enjoyable time. I dont even know if there is enough meat on one of those sika deer to even worry about paying someone to process it for you. Just gut it, skin it and jam a piece of rebar through it for the sika roast. nice dry rub and its just like a little pig roast.
 If you call the park they will steer you in the right direction as far as seasons and cost/license etc.
