Default Sevylor SOT inflatable?

For yakin' out baits,
The ST5656

1 person sit on top. Looks like it can be had for about $200. Comes with carrying/dive bag and seat. I know the inflatables aren't great but a hard yak just isn't doable at the moment. I'm not thinking about it very hard but for the price...

From Sevylor-"They are constructed of a super-strong sandwich-like material outer hull (canvas over PVC i think) and heavy-duty polyester decks. The inner hull is made of a heavy-duty cold resistant PVC material with double I-beam electronically-welded seams"

not sure how wise that might be in the surf.... it can get pretty intense out there....before you buy make sure you check with the manufacturer, to see what conditions it is rated for. Finding out its not rated for surf once you are out there

I would also be slightly concerned with a 10/0 - 16/0 hook laying up on something that can be punctured....

Had a friend who took their inflatable kayak to the surf and it kept folding on them, and flipped them over. If you don't mind paying $89 more, you can get an Emotion "Charger" at Sunny's Surplus for $289 total. The $289 includes a $50 off instant rebate which storewide on all canoes and kayaks, plus some are as much as $100 off.

This may be a little small, but should get you out and back in quickly and somewhat within the price range you were looking in.

I saw the emotion charger at cabelas this spring. Thought it looked like a very navigable yak for the surf. Just over 300 when I saw it. Shoulda bought it when I had the dough. If you are gonna run out a bait on a blow up float, a tractor tire tube is a heckuva lot cheaper.
