What all does everyone use on here for drum??? like rod/reel, bait, rigs. i hear soo much talk and some darn nice pictures that its making me wonder whether i try for them over stripers! just dont know if i have the equipment.

If I'm down there while the drum are, I'd love to try too (never caught one) - Its my impression that its just like striper fishing only they're usually father out (work on your casting). Other than that I believe its still your standard ff rig w/ bunker chunk...someone correct me?

King heads too, the drum run is usually ahead of the big striper run, Sept/Oct vs Oct/Nov.

Is it worth chucking peelers for Drum? Anyone do it?

Are the kings still around for the catching then or do you catch them now and freeze 'em?

They are around when drum are around. Have caught many during the tourney. They are actually IN the tourney.

I stand corrected but you should still catch em, eat em, and freeze the heads.
