Default Coop's Monday Night Sharks

I was pleased when Oliver invited me to come along tonight (on his birthday). I figured after Friday he would have had enough of his mother for a while. I got skunked, but Coop pulled up beside us and had a shark on within minutes. I took lots of pictures. It wasn't long before he had another one bending his rod over. I thought Oliver was going to go home empty handed, but he had an Atlantic sharp nose on his new rig. Oh - Oliver also got a huge brush burn when his shorts rode up while helping Coop get the hook out on the big sandbar. Say Oliver, you told me to watch the Discovery channel last night - weren't you paying attention when they talked about the rough skin on sharks???

Coop, I'll post the bagel recipe tomorrow. I had fun watching you pull in those sharks. Sam reeled one in too in front of TV cameras!!!!

By the way guys, I actually took the kayak out in the ocean tonight. I didn't take bait out. I wanted to see if I could do it first. Next time I'll take out my own bait. Can't wait!!!

Nice work Scott!

Oliver hops right on them, doesn't he? I wonder if one day he will jump on one released in the wash and go for a ride. Now you know that new rod/reel catches fish Oliver.

Great Pictures, Oceanoma. It was good to see you out there again. I know you fish hard, but you should take a few minutes and join us for a while.
