Default Finally!!

Went out to AI tonight to try and catch some bait for the fling. Stopped at Bucks on the way down and the woman there gave me 10 fresh bunker free of charge which was pretty cool. But my wife and i went out about a mile past the bullpen to fish for some croaker. And since i had gotten the bunker for free i needed to test a chunk. So i casted it out planning on nothing happening when i got a hug hit on the shark rod. I leaned back to set the hook and finally i was into something big. He took a couple of long runs untill i was able to get him in about 2 or 3 feet in front of me. And i saw the whole legnth of his body and the tip of his fin. It had to have been about 5' long. Which is bigger than anything i have ever caught. Right before a wave was going to wash him in he rolled over a few times and rubbed through my 60# braided main line. I didnt actually land the fish but im still happy because none of the rigs i made or knots i tied failed. I dont know what kind of shark it was but it wasnt fat like a sand tiger and the fin had a dark tip. After tonight i am so ready for the fling hopefully i can bring one in.

It very well could have been a sandbar. The water temps have gone up a LOT since this weekend. I think they are up to 78 degrees now.

Great job on the shark.
