Dave's Sport Shop on Nanticoke Road in Quantico. I know they sell bait and tackle. You might want to ask them about a good spot to fish. Also, let us know what they say if you stop by.

I've heard Roaring Point is a good spot. Supposedly good place to catch stripers in the spring (although striper fishing in the Nanticoke is prohibited in the spring). It looks like you can get to Roaring Point from Nanticoke Rd.

Let me know if you find a decent place. I live in west Salisbury and have wanted to find someplace local to catch some fish.

Roaring Pt is a good place, although you will have company. Just about any kind of bottom fish common to the bay is there, plus rock, trout, and blues in the spring and fall.

oh a boat opens alot of area, almost too many to go through. i like the puppy hole, holland straights, hooper straights, there s nice area for trout right off a campground, the one north of the seafood plant. the channel by the sandbar at roaring point is pretty good. there are some oysterbeds between the mouth of the nanticoke and deal isand that produce fairly well. there are alot of areas
i used to launch at elliots island quite a bit and run over that way, sometimes from nanticoke harbor.
i usually got bait prior to heading down. there are some places near nanticoke harbor to pick up peelers. hitches in eden has nice bloods and peelers usually
