Default White perch as bait

How many people use white perch as bait for the surf? I have the ability to catch as many white perch as I can carry. They live in a polluted creed and no one fishes for them. I catch one about every third cast. I want to catch some fresh and then go to the ocean. I am even thinking about a live well for my truck.

My number one White perch killer is a four pound spinning setup and a #1 Mepps Aglia spinner.
