Take the Dodge on the sand. Try to keep the new '05 outta' the sand as long as possible. Sand and salt will migrate into places so deep that you'll still be finding it four years later after one trip. While the salt is in there it will be eating at the metals. You'll NEVER get it all out, trust me.....

Throw all the toys in the bed of the Ram, get it dirty and enjoy.

Get it home and give it a good hard hosing underneath. You don't want the underside looking like the back of Sam's Jeep.

(snicker-snicker, just had to say it)

If the Dodge is properly maintained I wouldn't worry about it.

Both vehicles have their pros and cons.

The pro on the Dodge is just throwin' stuff in the bed, the Jeep, keeping stuff dry.

The only con is in the previous msg.

But remember, you aren't supposed to switch the $70 ORV sticker back and forth. Whatever you choose initially will be your "sand trap".

Might be a sore spot if the wife mainly drives the Liberty and you want to hit the sand when she wants to go shopping.

Guess who will win....
