Interesting design...
Easy to transport, no license or trailer fees, etc...
Maybe he ought to just buy a boat though....

But hey, it works for him and that's all that matters, eh?

I have an "outrigger" setup for out in the bay but it has too much drag when it's stable, when I evevate them a little to reduce drag it's unstable. I would never use that in the ocean, think it's bad to get broad sided now...try with that! =)

Now for bone/red/sight fishing that is a must in a yak.
