I want my skate back! I fought him for at least 20 minutes before he broke the line.
Dave, I changed line on the reel. It works great, and seems to still have some swenson karma. ![]() Beautiful morning again...

Fished top of ORV Wednesday afternoon and evening with Sam.
Surf break was about 2', sandbar 150' out. Not a bad looking hole between bar and shore. Wind SSW, hole moving north as the evening progressed. Cow Nose caught. Moved below BP after dark. Water flat, shore break only. Cow Nose and Dogfish. No knock downs. If the feesh are here, they're hiding. Used bunker slabs and heads. Might be some small Blues eating at the heads, didn't hook any. Thanks for the company t-shirts Sam!

We fished the tournament today. Tough fishing, folks. Strong NW winds and stinging rain right in the face. We all got soaked to the bone, even with rain gear. We caught several kings, blues, a short striper, a short flounder, some spot and no bigguns. A fella in the spot next to us caught a 38" Striper and another 28.5". It was exciting to see something nice caught, but that was early in the AM. We'll try again tomorrow and I'll have the tournament results. Sorry no pictures. Can't take pictures in the rain. :?

Hey guys. Got my venison for another year so ready to join you on the beach. Have a few days vac left so hoping for some 3 day weekends next 3 weeks weather permitting. Seems best bite has always been end of first week to second Nov there abouts. There sure were some pretty striper holes last I was there. AI in November is special with fish and bird migration underway. Hunters hitting the beach before sun-up so helps not to oversleep.

I'm headed out to the beach. I will be just north of the ORV entrance on Assateague. As usual, anyone here is welcome to join me. I should be there from 6:30 - midnight. I've got plenty of bunker to go through (25 lbs or so)

I'm heading out tomorrow night for some striper action. As usual, if anyone would like to join me, I'll be on the North end of the ORV entrance.
